Method and Conditions
We act as an intermediary between you the customer and the supplier of yachts, the charter company. This means that we don’t own the yachts. Because we rent yachts already many years and we know many charter companies, we can help you to find the yacht that suits your needs the best. We have sailed in many areas so we can advise what is the best destination for you.
You’re interested in a sailing holiday and ask us for a quote. Within 2 days you will receive an offer. If you are interested in a yacht we can take an option on the yacht without any obligations. At that time, the yacht cannot be booked by anyone else. You will then have time to arrange your tickets or other matters before finalizing the booking. We always inform you when your option expires.
You decided to make the booking for your sailing holiday, how now to continue? You confirm your booking with date, yacht, and location by email to us. We will confirm the booking to the charter company and you will receive the following documents sent by email.
The invoice, you’ have to transfer within one week 50% to us, the rest you’ pay 8 weeks before departure. We transfer this directly to the charter company from whom we rent the yacht. On the invoice the date that the second payment should be done is mentioned. If there is no payment done by this date you risk that your booking will be canceled. The charter company can rent the yacht to somebody else. Always inform us in case of emergencies. We will notify you by email when we have received your payment.
The contract, terms and conditions, which you should read carefully, sign and mail back to us. The contract, terms and conditions are from the charter company from which we mediate the yacht. The contract is also signed by them at the base before the check in. If unfortunately there is a problem on your yacht during the holiday, then you should contact directly with the charter company. They will do their utmost to solve the issue as soon as possible. If you have difficulties with them, then we will help you. This must be done when you have the problem and not after returning home. If you have any complaints about the boat, inform the charter company inmediatly, make pictures so there is evidence in a dispute. We are not on the spot and cannot judge at a distance without photos. In the contract is written how much time the charter company has to solve the problem / fault. If it lasts longer than normal you can ask for compensation from the charter company. This can only be done at the base before the checkout and before you go home. At home it makes no sense anymore.
Crewform, this is a list containing the data from all passengers on the yacht. This is required by port authorities in the various countries. Also note your cell phone number on the crew list, and flight details so that your time of arrival is known at the base. The charter company uses this info for planning regarding the cleaning of the yachts. We would also like to receive a copy of your license (if possible scan and email) so that we can also send it directly to the charter company, this saves you time on the base.
Cancellation of the holiday
We advise you to organise a cancellation and travel insurance. Most charter companies use the following conditions: Up to 8 weeks prior to departure you’ll loose your 50% deposit if canceled, after the 8 weeks the total amount.

We have made for you a packing list, a document which explains about the check in and out at the base on your arrival and we’ll send you four weeks before departure a holiday voucher with all the detailed information where to find the base, and contact details of the base manager. Please inform family and friens how they can get in contact with you in case of an emergency.
